Katherine Burke, Associate
Kate has practiced architecture for the last fifteen years in Boston, New Haven, and New York. Since joining Sage and Coombe Architects she has managed a wide range of civic projects from concept through construction including the environmental educational flagship, Rockaways Institute for a Sustainable Environment. Under New York’s Design Excellence Initiative, the renovation of St. Mary’s Recreation Center in the Bronx and the Landmark Sunset Park Recreation Center in Brooklyn. For the LeFrak City residential development in Corona, Queens, she oversaw the design and construction of an innovative pool and shade structure. Currently, Kate is working on selective and strategic renovations for the Westside Montessori and the Browning Schools in New York.
Prior to joining Sage and Coombe, Kate worked with Leeser Architecture. She has a Bachelor of Design from the University of Florida and a Masters in Architecture from the Yale School of Architecture. Kate is licensed in the State of New York.
