Before forming Sage and Coombe Architects, Jennifer Sage was a Senior Associate for Design at Pei Cobb Freed & Partners; Peter Coombe was an architect in Richard Meier & Partners office.

For the last ten years, they have worked together on a variety of small and large projects, responsible for their own design work, overseeing construction in and around New York City. To achieve the highest quality of work, the office has deliberately cultivated a group of complementary professionals, prepared to work as a team and equally devoted to building great architecture within the constraints of practical realities.

Sustainable Construction:
Both principals are LEED-accredited professionals. The integration of new technologies and sustainable strategies is key to the firm's work for a range of environmentally-conscious clients, where green roofs, photo-voltaic panels and geo-thermal cooling have been incorporated into a variety of projects.
